Yes you read that right... and no, I'm not crazy. There are 50 million #hipstrengthening videos on how to get your glutes to fire. And every single one of them, (ok most) are perfectly fine. BUT, they completely miss the point and never answer the question why they got weak in the first place! DID THEY JUST GIVE UP? IS IT A CONSPIRACY? NANOBOTS? Nah. Muscles are easy to blame things on. It makes sense because that's where the action should be happening. The human body is more complex than that. Your glutes are just big dumb muscles but they are very neurologically innovated. They also act on a joint that likes to misbehave. If your #physicaltherapy plan of care is not addressing the underlying cause you are wasting your time, energy, and money.
